The Canvas Waiting are a 4 piece band from the heart of Texas, Austin. Currently the band is unsigned, but that’s bound to change with their high quality sound. What makes this band stand out for me is definitely the pace they play their songs at. It’s like a melodic sound with intricate guitar riffs that bring out that peaceful sound. It’s good that their songs are moderately slow because it gives us as listeners, the chance to listen to their beautiful lyrics easier. The Canvas Waiting definitely paints murals with their lyrics, and I always appreciate a good band with fantastic lyrics. Please, take the time to listen to this band they are greatly worth everyone’s time. The band currently has an a new album out called “Chasing Color” and you guys can check out the whole album on their myspace.
